Steely Dan - FM (Ultimate Demo Remix)

Quite possibly my most ambitious and proud project yet. I combined FM's demo tape and final version of the song together and edited them both carefully to make quite possibly the greatest version of the song in my opinion.

You might be asking, why remix an already near-perfect song? Well, my friends, I used the phrase, "near-perfect" for a reason because I thought that the demo tape of this song had some very unique scores within them. Mainly the beginning part. I thought, "Man, some of this stuff would sound incredible if it were left in.." so after 2 seconds of thinking, I got right to work and the rest is history.

Unfortunately, I do wish I would've went back to restore the demo tape itself into a higher quality before working, but that would involve me starting over from the beginning.. Because of that, you may notice that certain things may feel saturated like the hi-hats and certain "S" sounds.. I apologize in advance.

Other than that, I am super proud of myself for how this turned out and to hopefully use this project as a big name for all the 'Dan fans out there.

(I guess I unintentionally made this a Steely Dan channel now, huh?)
