About the relocation of Squires Coffee Bar from Sherburn in Elmet in Yorkshire, England, UK from its original venue in Sherburn in Elmet to its current venue in what was The New Inn, Newthorpe on the outskirts of Sherburn in Elmet in Yorkshire. Originally owned by Squire Bradbury in 1954, bought by Harry Weston in 1974 and relocated in 2001 & 2002. It opened in 1 April 2002. Squires Café Bar as it is now (from 2002) Was originally Squires Milk Bar from 1954 until 1974 when it became Squires Coffee Bar. It is the north's premier bikers' café, some 200 miles north of London's Ace Café. Motorcyclists from all over England come to Yorkshire to visit it. It is now owned (from 2007) by the Bowness family.
