Musiciens-Magiciens is the debut studio album by the French progressive rock band Atoll in 1974. Next to Ange, Atoll were probably the most influential of the French symphonic bands. The group played twice at the Olympia and toured throughout France and internationally. Atoll has been a real breeding ground for musicians throughout its career. The most stable formation between 1975 and 1980 was composed as follows: André Balzer on vocals, Chris Beya on guitar, Alain Gozzo on drums, Jean-Luc Thillot on bass and Michel Taillet on keyboards and percussion. Prog Archives: "This album is rich in harmony, complex rythms, structures and poetical lyrics! This is the best french symphonic prog band of the 70's (John Wetton came to play with them after UK)! This album is a high quality story that can be compared to the best 70's concept albums : influences from King Crimson and Yes are obvious." (Wiki, Discogs, Prog Archives)
