In this tutorial I show you how to create a massive christmas present prop you can also use as a projection screen as they come alive at night.
Materials used but feel free to use what you have available for substitutions:
1. Insulation foam boards 1.5 inch thick type. Only one for thinner type present. 2 for large square type present.
2. Wood planks for back support and anchoring leg 1x4 inch type. (Note: while finally securing gigantic present ensure you use at least 50lbs of weight on leg or anchor to ground very well.
3. Heavy duty L bracket from hardware store (in my case from Home Depot).
4. White tape to cover up hardware on front side of present
5. Insulation foam board attaching screws; general trim 1 1/4 inch screws and large washers
6. Optional ribbon material for decorating presents.
7. Videos you can use: Get your super cool holiday themed videos here which are high quality and recommended. Link below gives you 10% OFF or use this code: SUPERSIMPLEDIY10

8. Any projector will do but I’m specifically using a 20 year old Epson 420 which you can still find nowadays for less than $50 and it’s enough to cover an entire house from just 20 feet away.
Note: On my channel I have a ton of resources on how to do more with projection mapping as well as tutorial on how to make an inexpensive weatherproof enclosure. If you are overwhelmed with all the resources leave a question in the comments. I offer 24/7 support.
