SWFL Eagles 11-9-25. M15 Showers his Lovely F23 💕 with FOUR FISH & ONE MEAT DELIVERY! 🐟😋

M15 shines with all the Sunday deliveries! Video opens with M15 delivering three fish by 8:23 AM. F23 ate the first fish on the nest; however, we did not have a good view of her eating. M15 delivers the second fish, and F23 mantles and vocalizes like an eaglet on the inner limb! She flies to the nest to receive her fish, and eats on the nest again! We have a better view for fish #2. The third delivery is a catfish head. F23 takes that to the office oak to eat. M15 brings an afternoon meat delivery. He leaves it on the nest, and F23 arrives later to scarf it down. It appears to be rabbit when she eats it. M15's last delivery of the day is a good-sized headless fish. F23 does not drop to the nest, and M15 takes it to the office oak, flying in past a Great Blue Heron. F23 flies to the office oak. F23 flies to the DSPS (drive side pond snag) several minutes later. She feaks (cleans her beak), indicating she ate while in the office oak. M15 drops to the ground below the office oak, then flies to the nest with leftover fish. F23 has a history of "dropping" food when done with it. M15 likely recovered the fish under the office oak. He flies from the nest to the DSPS to eat, and F23 returns to the nest before leaving for the night. M15 flies to the nest for one last check of the day, then he leaves for the night. The rails have been built up well during the rebuilding phase. Soft nesting material/grass is being brought in regularly now. M15 and F23 conduct nest tests multiple times a day, working to ensure the nest is comfy and perfect for egg laying, incubation, brooding, and raising eaglets. M15 and F23 have increased matings in cam view, as expected, and that may increase further as the time for egg laying gets closer. M15 and F23 also mate out of cam view. F23 laid her first egg on 11-8-24 last season, so that is the time window we will be watching.
