In this video, I reflect on some truly inspiring moments from our community across the Euroa electorate.
I begin by honoring the Vietnam veterans in Seymour, who, despite dwindling numbers and advancing age, recently saw a new generation step up.
Students from Seymour College, guided by their defense mentor and supported by the RSL, proudly led the annual service — a moving tribute that brought together over 200 people and showed that our veterans’ legacy is in safe hands.
Next, I share the excitement from the recent stallion parades in Nagambie — the heartbeat of Victorian racing.
Champion stallions like Rubick, Toronado, and Written Tycoon call our region home, with leading studs such as Swettenham, Yulong, Darley, Yarran, Seymour Park, and newcomer Lovatsville driving jobs, investment, and economic growth in the community. Thoroughbred racing remains a major engine for regional Victoria, and I’m proud so much of it happens right here in Euroa.
Finally, I congratulate Allen and Lizette Snaith of Warialda Belted Galloways on their incredible achievement. Awarded producer legends at the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and inducted into the Hall of Fame, the Snaiths have bred 100% grass-fed, dry-aged belted Galloway beef on their Clonbinane property for over 45 years. Their paddock-to-plate philosophy and dedication to quality have earned national acclaim, bringing pride to Clonbinane and the entire Euroa electorate.
These stories show the strength, resilience, and passion of our local communities — from honoring our veterans to celebrating regional industries that support our economy and identity.
