after moons of misfortune and time spent building thorns around his heart, it all comes crashing down from one spontaneous encounter with a cat from another clan. amazing how similar they were, yet how differently they looked at life.
amazing how quickly that brief moment of happiness was ripped away.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!! DID NOT EXPECT TO FINISH THIS VERY T4T STORY DURING THIS MONTH NGL ASDFG
wow my art style changed so much /j
but SURPRISE! me and my best friend ‪@pandorachi‬ worked on a collab pmv together! :3c more like we took turns and shifts on which parts we wanted to do. pan did the visual storyboarding and lineart, meanwhile i did the written storyboard, coloring, and editing! (after effects was killing me SO BAD)

lots of characters making their brief appearances, lots of confusing colors that are symbolic but the main ones!!
pinesnow ('yellow' tabby with freckles) belongs to ‪@pandorachi‬
limeblaze ('purple' torti) belongs to me!!
icestorm ('yellow' spotted cheese looking cat) belongs to ‪@MercenaryBlood‬

some context: through many persistent attempts (made by limeblaze) to befriend the other warrior, pinesnow eventually allowed her close enough. the two warriors from different clans, have started meeting up, and soon feelings are quietly being reciprocated. while limeblaze brushes off her family's concerns, pinesnow is finding it hard to ignore his clan's strict regulations—especially concerning cross-clan relations.
despite that, he still goes out of his way to see her. both unaware that this visit was going to be their last.

this story actually has a prequel and (somewhat) a sequel pmvs! please check them out!
