Glasgow South East Foodbank in Govanhill opened in 2011 and currently feed between 200-250 people every week with numbers steadily increasing.

The food bank is supported by local churches and faith groups, local community groups and businesses and of course by the general public through permanent collection points in local supermarkets, weekly and ad hoc collections and financial donations.

Manager Audrey Flannagan gave us a tour around the facilities on Glasgow’s southside which fed 11,500 individuals last year and is expected to serve in the region of 14,000 people this year.
