A walk through the Canal Gardens on a warm day in April this year that leads to Tropical World. It has a Butterfly Zone but that day there was not many butterflies and the ones I saw were not stopping for a photo!. However there was still much to see and I have tried to name some of the creatures that I saw that day.
Our car was parked near the entrance to The Specialist Gardens at Roundhey Park so before leaving for home there was time for a quick visit to one of them. The Alhambra Garden has a permanent home there and is my favourite as it looks great most times of the year and nice to visit that day, 8th April. The garden is the reproduction, based on the famous Patio de la Acequia at the Alhambra Palace in southern Spain.
