I did this bicycle ridea from Hanzomon gate of Royal imperial palace in Tokyo to Odaiba sea side park. While do cycling, I also did some sightseeing as well.
Rental bicycle is a good option to do some sightseeing around Tokyo. But you need to be careful about cycling rules as well as parking rules. Also, sometimes things doesn't go as it plans. So I always use these things when I get into a bicycle for a long ride in Japan.
1. A mobile phone holder
2. Mobile phone with a good internet connection
3. Power bank and cables
4. Snacks and a water bottle
