South Korea kicked off its advanced industrial technology show at the "K-Tech Inside Show 2025."
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the three-day event at Ilsan's KINTEX highlights the nation's materials, parts, equipment, and core industries.
At the opening ceremony on Wednesday, the government recognized 74 individuals for contributions to industrial supply chains.
It also designated 15 new "Leading Companies" in the sector, which aligns with a national plan to foster 200 such firms by 2030, and developing them into global leaders.
A ministry official stated the administration will expand financial support to strengthen the materials, parts, and equipment sector's competitiveness amid ongoing global supply chain reorganizations.
