How To Recreate Sounds: A Simple Approach

In this video I'll show you a very simple approach to recreate / remake synth sounds (it can be used for non-synthesized sounds as well of course). The basic idea is to think about the sound in the three categories pitch, volume and texture. This approach can be very helpful to quickly get into the right direction of the sounds you want to recreate. So while you won't be able to exactly recreate every single synth sound that hear, you should be able to get close enough to then create your own version of it which is helpful for both sound design and music production.

The example I'm suing as a reference is a high-pitched trailer synth bend.

I'm using the free soft synth Vital but of course this approach can be used independent of the synth or synthesis method used and it should be easily possible to recreate this specific sound with other synths as well.
