How big is a LOOP on the Lockheed F-104 Starfighters? 10,000 feet easily! This is a rare opportunity to see a loop recorded from the pilot's point of view.
The maneuver was executed on a TF-104GM (two seater aircraft).
The Two Seater actually is more maneuverable, thanks to the bigger canopy, the fuselage provides more lift, which makes the aircraft slightly more maneuverable...hence the LOOP is actually smaller than the one the Single Seat F-104S could do.
