This summer day felt like a small escape from the city — I travelled across the Gothenburg Archipelago, hopping between islands by bus and ferry, and it turned into one of the calmest, most beautiful experiences of my Nordic life so far.

From the moment the ferry left the coast, the ocean breeze, the blue sky, and the quiet rhythm of island life felt like another world. Each island had its own charm — wooden houses, rocky beaches, small harbors, and peaceful walking paths.

But the highlight of the journey was the last island: Rörö.
With its untouched nature, windy coastline, open sea views, and wild landscapes, it felt like standing at the edge of Sweden. I explored the rocks, beaches, narrow paths, and the calm summer silence that makes the archipelago special.
