Golfers love golf trips. But sometimes it's much easier said than done. Often times it means leaving behind our significant others, our kids, and even our pets for an extended period of time.
My cameraman Josh and I tend to go away quite often to play golf, including just about every Saturday and Sunday during the golf season in Chicago.
So for Memorial Day, we thought we'd go to a place that had a little something for everyone in the family, Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, Illinois. And this time, as a small thank you to our wives, we would bring them, and our dogs, along with us.
The resort and the town of Galena have a lot to offer a group of golfers, couples looking to get away, or families that just need a little break.
