Sustainable Coconuts from Sri Lanka

Tahoma is a state-of-the-art coconut factory that started production just recently in 2023. It produces desiccated coconut, fine and medium, coconut chips, virgin coconut oil, and coconut flour as a by-product from the oil.
Yearly production capacities for those coconut products are 2’500 MT for the food industry all over the world. Apart from the about 120 people that are employed directly in the factory, additional 250 farmers deliver its coconuts for production.
yourharvest AG, located in Switzerland is a valued supply chain partner for the food industry, offering exceptional quality and customer service. Since the beginning of 2023 the company is a co-owner and sales partner of Tahoma.

Tahoma can build on a long experience in the coconut business due to already existing knowledge from the sister company Target Agriculture. The IFS certification ensures the high level of food safety in order to meet the customers requirements.
The farmer network of about 250 farmers, 150 of which are fairtrade certified is managed by Tahoma’s well established sister company Target Agriculture which supports the farmers with own field staff in organic and fairtrade related topics.
Due to the long experience of yourharvest and Target Agriculture in the coconut business, Tahoma is not only a processor but also has an impact in the communities giving stable income to the local people and their families. This and the various certifications of the raw material give ideal conditions for high quality coconut products with social responsibility.
