In choosing the Union Building lawns in Pretoria for its Election Manifesto Launch today, the DA has chosen to focus on the message it is sending to supporters and citizens rather than the numbers it can attract. This is the view of political analyst Levy Ndou. The DA is the only one of South Africa's top four largest parties that will not be holding its event at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, in what commentators have dubbed the battle of the stadia. KwaZulu-Natal together with Gauteng are the most coveted provinces to win for all parties as they boast the highest number of eligible voters.
