Old Québec City at Christmas Feels Like a Fairytale 🇨🇦 ❄️

Step into the magic of Old Québec City in winter as we explore the city beautifully decorated for the Christmas season during a peaceful daytime walk ❄️🇨🇦 Snow-dusted streets, historic architecture, and festive décor make this winter walk feel straight out of a storybook.

On this walk, we make our way through some of Old Québec’s most iconic and charming locations, including the outdoor Place d’Youville Ice Rink, and the historic Saint-Jean Gate. From there, we continue toward the Citadel de Québec, passing viewpoints overlooking the famous Dufferin Terrace Toboggan Slide the St. Lawrence River.

Along the way, you’ll see stunning views of Château Frontenac, festive holiday displays, the charming German Christmas Market of Québec, and historic gateways like Prescott Gate. We continue down into Quartier Petit Champlain, passing Rue du Cul-de-Sac, Place Royale, and the picturesque Rue Sous-le-Fort beneath the towering cliffs of Upper Town.
