We yank out the rusty old tanks out of our sailboat and install a Moeller fuel tank, an electric sending unit with a return line, and a electronic fuel gauge. We even build a polishing loop into the system, which will allow us to clean our diesel when we're at anchor or in a slip. This was entirely a DIY project from start to finish, so if I can do it... so can you!
