In this guitar tutorial, I’ll teach you how to play The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, bringing together all the key parts into a practical and playable lesson. I start by teaching my single guitar fingerpicking arrangement, designed to cover what was originally split between dobro and electric guitar in the studio recording. I’ll also break down the iconic lead guitar solo in the outro, so you can nail that powerful ending. For those not quite ready for fingerpicking, I include an easy strummed version that works perfectly for beginners and still captures the feel of the song. On top of that, I teach two different verse variations, inspired by two live performances from Lindsey Buckingham, giving you options depending on the sound and feel you prefer. Whether you want to challenge yourself with fingerstyle or keep it simple and musical, this lesson has you covered.
