Here is the most common toad of North America, the American Toad, Anaxyrus americanus (previously known as Bufo americanus). This specimen, though, is a representation of the subspecies Eastern American Toad, Anaxyrus americanus americanus. Quite likely to be a male due to the release call it gives throughout the episode, this lil' guy most likely had just woken up from hibernation not too long before the filming. Must say, he was both charming and cooperative!
