One of several Camtasia 2023 new features is the Motion Path feature. In this video I show how to use the Motion Path feature. It is quite easy to use. One thing to keep in mind is that when using the “Auto Orient” feature is to make sure the handle on the item that you are using for the motion path faces the direction you want to go. Then select the “Auto Orient” feature, then change the direction of the object (in our example the front of the sport car) using the rotation tools. For example, in the video I move the handle connected to the sports car down so it is pointing straight down the track, then I select the “Auto Orient”, then change the car direction using the rotation tool Z to -90 degrees. In other words, the rotation relates to the direction of the starting point handle.
