Today we visit the Ramsgate Tunnels for their model railway show celebrating 200 years of railways.
This show boasted 10 model layouts as well as various traders and supporting stands situated inside the tunnels. Also on display was a number of scale steam traction engines including stunning Burrel engines as well as a 6inch showman engine!
Ramsgate & Canterbury model engineering society were also In attendance with portable tracks providing train rides to the public and providing the first steam service in ramsgate harbour for over 99 years!
over all a fantastic event celebrating all things railway and steam and one to make sure you mark in your calendar for the future as this one is definitely one ear marked for expansion!
