Who is Emmad Irfani? |

Emmad Irfani is a Pakistani actor who started his career as a model. He has done lead roles in TV serials from Entertainment Channels while as a fashion model he has worked with national and international brands.

Early and personal life

Of Kashmiri descent, Irfani belongs to a family of military background, thus visiting almost all Pakistan during his childhood till his father retired and settled in Lahore. He did his Graduation and Masters from Lahore. Filmmaker Farjad Nabi is his cousin.

In 2010, he married fashion designer Maryam Shafaat, whose sister is model Amina Shafaat, and they had a son and a daughter, including Zaviyar, who died at a young age in 2023.

While Mai Hoon Shahid Afridi was an average success, Jawani phir Nahe Ani went on to become the highest grossing film of Pakistan cinema and broke all the previous box office records while earning more than 490 million at the box office. He also wrote Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, which was released on 2018 Eid al-Adha and broke the all time biggest box office grosses record. It also went on to become the first Pakistani film to make 700 Million rupees worldwide.
