We leave the busy Costa del Sol and head up into the mountains of Andalucía, visiting three very different towns along the way: Alora, Setenil de las Bodegas, and Ronda. From a living, breathing pueblo where people actually hang out in the streets, to a viral cave town built into the rock, and finally to one of the most dramatic cliffside cities in all of Spain, this drive shows just how much variety exists in southern Spain beyond the coast. Along the way, we pass farms, orange groves, acorn forests for jamón, and some of the most beautiful landscapes in Andalucía—ending with legendary views, deep history, and incredible food in Ronda.
