Camtasia Compound Shapes and Custom Annotations

Learn to create custom shapes and complex, compound annotations in Camtasia, from simple, elementary annotations. Camtasia doesn't have a vector drawing tool, but using the procedures from this Camtasia tutorial, you can combine shapes to create more complex shapes that you can use in your projects, reuse them, add them to the Library and even customise their colour.

Learn how to take basic shapes and combine them into complex ones, with just a little bit of imagination and a new effect introduced in Camtasia 2021.

Of course, if you need far more complex shapes than these, you can create them in an external vector graphic tool, but for simple graphics and illustrations, you can stay 100% within Camtasia.
