A grieving scientist resurrects his son as a super robot

In a future world, after losing his son, the brilliant scientist Dr. Tenma created the robot Astro Boy, hoping to use him as a replacement to ease his grief. Astro Boy carried the emotions and memories of the doctor’s son, and his advanced programming continued to refine his feelings, making him compassionate and humanlike.
However, Dr. Tenma could never overcome the pain of his loss. He couldn’t truly accept Astro Boy and ultimately rejected him, believing he wasn’t human. Abandoned, Astro Boy became a homeless wanderer, constantly hunted by the military until he was finally captured.
The military ordered Dr. Tenma to remove Astro Boy’s power core so it could be used to fuel a government war machine. At the last moment, Dr. Tenma had a change of heart and helped Astro Boy escape.
Chased from all sides, Astro Boy fought back, and an epic battle was triggered. Throughout his journey, he gradually grew and eventually accepted his unique identity—part machine, part human—while taking on the responsibility of protecting the future of all humankind.
