Taja was in her early twenties working two jobs and attending college when she began experiencing headaches, itchy skin, and random fevers. Showers irritated her skin, she felt completely off, and despite alarming lab results doctors dismissed her concerns as infection. In February 2015 she finally received a diagnosis of polycythemia vera and her life changed overnight.

In this cancer vlog, Taja shares her journey from unexplained symptoms and a rare diagnosis to pregnancy, motherhood, and a bone marrow transplant at just 29 years old. She opens up about facing menopause at 34, losing friends during treatment, and finding purpose by creating “Miracle Circles” to advocate for invisible illnesses.
