The historic steamship "SS Shieldhall" departed from Southampton's berth 48 on the 16th June 2018 at about 16:00pm as she was leaving she gave a toot on her steam horn to the Princess Cruise Ship "Sapphire Princess" which was in the Ocean Cruise Terminal waiting to depart. Then "SS Shieldhall" proceeded to reverse away and make her turn to starboard to steam out of Southampton Docks and cruise down the Southampton water taking paying passengers to view the shipping and see the lovely views along the way as she headed towards the central solent just off the Isle of Wight and return a bit later to the berth.
