Orcas, also known as killer whales, are truly amazing creatures. They are the largest members of the dolphin family and are known for their striking black and white coloration, as well as their intelligence and complex social structures. Here are some fascinating facts about orcas:

Impressive Size and Strength: Adult male orcas can reach lengths of up to 30 feet (9 meters) and weight up to 10 tons. They have powerful bodies and strong tails that enable them to swim at speeds of up to 34.5 miles per hour (56 km/h).

Intelligent and Social Animals: Orcas are highly intelligent creatures with complex social lives. They live in matrilineal societies led by the oldest female, called the matriarch.
