The 5S work design (also called 5A in Germany) is a methodology popularized in production systems in the 2000s by Toyota. It consists of the methods: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain. In 2019, the University of Helsinki connected the methodology to research data and popularized it as "5S-Data". This Coffee Lecture will go into detail about the steps and how to implement the right organization of research data in your working team.
