The project was founded in September 2004 by Erez Keynan and Gil Fux, working together for 12 years to create catchy melodies combining current electronic sounds with live music. The project performs enrgetic live shows together with spectacular video art and animation. Talented DJ Gal Brami joined the project to help design the party ambiance for the show. The project has been working simultaneously on writing original material for the debut album and constructing a show comprised of the leading musicans in Israel. Various female vocalists have joined in their talents periodically in compiling some of the tracks. The chore electronic mucic is brought to life by live instruments -- electric guitar, saxophone, percussion, bass guitar and of-course the vocals. The end product is the original 'Tantoish' sound. Cover versions to popular songs, which have been created especially for the show, also maintain the characteristic Tanto line -- harmony, catchy melody groove and soul. Tanto project have been performing in Istanbul, Athens, Prague, Malaga and Israel.
