নওগাঁ বাইপাস সড়কের দুই পাশে থাকা ৩শ তাল গাছের মাথা কেটে ফেলেছে নর্দান ইলেকট্রিসিটি সাপ্লাই কোম্পানি। এভাবে গাছ কাটায় ক্ষুব্ধ স্থানীয়রা। জড়িতদের আইনের আওতায় আনার দাবি তাদের। তবে বিদ্যুৎ বিভাগ জানিয়েছে, বিদ্যুত লাইনের কারণে দুর্ঘটনা এড়াতে গাছের মাথাগুলো কাটা হয়েছে।

The Northern Electricity Supply Company has cut off the tops of 300 palm trees on both sides of the Naogaon bypass road. Locals are angry at the cutting of trees in this way. They demand that those involved be brought under the law. However, the Electricity Department has said that the tree tops were cut to avoid accidents due to power lines.
