Join us on Sabbath, December 20, at 11 am, as we read the story of salvation from Creation to the Nativity, interspersed with congregational carols and solos - bringing together the themes of prophecy and fulfillment, Old and New Testaments, into one narrative as we center our Christmas celebration on Jesus as the fulfillment of God's promises. Lessons & Carols is a series of nine Bible readings that are woven throughout the Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany hymns. They are inspired by a Celtic tradition called "A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols," begun in 1880 and popularized by King's College Chapel in Cambridge on Christmas Eve 1918.
Take this opportunity to leave behind the hustle and bustle of 2025 and enter into a space of peace where you can reflect on
what your part should be in this narrative.
