Penelope Dullaghan is an award-winning illustrator who has been collaborating with clients to make vibrant, insightful art for over 10 years. She began her career working in advertising as an art director, where she was steeped in a creative culture that taught her how to engage an audience visually.

She has worked with a wide variety of clients worldwide and has been recognized by Communication Arts, CA Typography, 3×3 Magazine, Society of Illustrators LA and Print Magazine. She’s also had the honor of judging illustration awards annuals for Communications Arts and CMYK.

She founded IllustrationFriday.com, a weekly creative outlet/participatory art exhibit for illustrators and artists of all skill levels. The site is designed to challenge participants creatively by introducing a new topic each Friday and giving participants one week to submit their interpretations. In 2013 she resigned from the site to focus more on creating her own art and to spend more time with her little family.

Penny lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband and daughter.
