In this video, I talk about my experience with vibe coding a new startup of mine as a experienced Golang Engineer. I downloaded cursor and started prompt engineering my way to building a full-stack golang web application. It started well, I went from having initial boilerplate to having a fairly complete web application, to the eye. However, problems started arising when I assumed I knew how certain features were built.

I also started to notice that certain elements of the code, for example serving static assets were not optimal, and had I wrote more of the code myself the more I would have caught earlier.

Unit testing my AI generated code also exposed various bugs in the system there I may have fixed earlier on. What your thoughts on Vibe Coding with AI, let me know in the comments!?
