During my stay in Taipei all the hostels were fully booked for the weekend and all that was left were really expensive ones, so I finally decided to get out of Taipei city and head down to Hualien which is a two hour train ride away. I'm so glad I decided to head down here because Taroko National Park was insane. From Hualien city, you can rent a motorbike and ride all throughout Taroko. I met three friends here and we explored the national park for a full day and caught the amazing Taiwan coastline at the end of the day. Definitely recommend coming down here to Hualien if you're ever in Taiwan. (Filmed Nov. 2019)
