Bone Divination- Meaning, Gathering, Cleansing, Naming, Attuning, Throwing, and Reading

Throwing bones is an ancient custom deep in a hoodoo and voodoo culture. Bones have been used for centuries as a form of divination. Throwing bones is making its way back in popularity it is the most accurate form of divination due to the fact that the owner of the set assigns the meaning of each piece according to what a piece may represent to them. For example, in my set I have a penny on one side is honest Abe it makes me think of an important person like a boss or an attorney. on the other side is the Lincoln memorial, if this side shows up in a reading I see it as an important meeting, or place of business, or even court papers. I have a white skull bead in my set that I see the meaning as meaning ancestors, a small cross represents higher powers, a clear quartz means a situation needs clarity. Another example on how to assign meanings to your pieces and doing readings is a charm of a shoe may be a symbol of walking away or walking into depending on how it lands in a spread. A ring May indicate a marriage, partnership, friendship, or business relationship, or a cycle without end. another example may be a tooth you incorporate into your set, this could stand for the truth needs to be said, or open communication. If the tooth lands upside down, it may indicate, lies, rumors, deceit, or other. Let us take these three, a shoe lands next to a tooth lying upside down, and a ring, this could read as someone has been deceitful in a relationship and now it's about time to walk away. You assign your own meanings to each piece which assist you in allowing your own intuition to flow freely and effortlessly.
