• Ustad Ghulam Taqi Khan was the youngest son and Disciple of Padma Bhushan Ustad Mushtaq Hussain Khan From The Rampur Sahaswan Gharana.

• He was an Eminent Indian Classical Vocalist and was the Great Pillar and Pioneer of Rampur Sahaswan Gharana.

• He initially started his training under the guidance of his Father the Great legendary Vocalist Of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana Padma Bhushan Ustad Mushtaq Hussain Khan saheb.

• He learned from his father around 2 to 3 decades. after his Father's demise, He was groomed and refined his vocals under the guidance of The Great Legendary Vocalist and The Great Pillar Of the Gharana His eldest brother Ustad Ishtiyaq Hussain khan. who was the elder Son of Ustad Mushtaq Hussain Khan Sahab. He started refining his training more and more.

• He Started Giving his performances from the age of 15 and also was featured on All India Radio from the age of 21.

• He was very famous specially for his amazing Taan Patterns and various Sargam styles.

• He was Top Grade Ranked Artist Of All India Radio.

• He had also done lots of recordings for Highly prestigious academy which is called:- Sangeet Natak Akademi.
he was also awarded by several awards not only India, abroad aswell. He also joined Triveni Kala Sangam as a Senior Music Teacher (Guru)
where he groomed so many students
during his reign.

• he is a disciple of his Maternal Grandfather Padmashree Ustad Ghulam Sadiq Khan and started learning from the age of 6.
after ustad Ghulam Sadiq Khan sahab's demise
he started his training under the guidance of His uncle Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan saheb and his son Shri Ghulam Hasan Khan.
he also learned from his uncle ustad ghulam aziz khan niazi ( Son of ustad Ghulam Hussain Khan Saheb)
