Golf Cart Lithium Battery Conversion Kit

We install a eco battery 48 volt 105 amp hour golf cart battery conversion kit into a club car precedent club car precedent. What a Difference. Cart gained 3 mph with factory motor and controller. This eco lithium battery really woke the cart up. Take off and power thought the drive is impressive! We love these batteries so we thought we would give you a little install video on the conversion.

We start by taking the old batteries out. You will not need the wires that connect each battery. You will only use the main negative and positive battery cables for this install. The battery hold down brackets you can toss to the side as well. You will need to keep one battery hold down rod. Remove all batteries. Next take the floor out and loosen body screws and remove the bottom plastic body holder. Take out old charging port and replace with new style extension cord charger if you wish to do so. ( you do not have to do this but makes for a clean install.) Now place the battery into the cart using the one battery hold down rod. Place the eco battery holding plate and nut over the battery and tighten down. Next we will run our gauge to the dash. There are some tips for mounting the battery gauge in the video. Make some wires for the 48v to 12v reducer. You will need some wire for this it is not supplied in the kit. You accessories will go to the accessories side. Main power will go to 48v on the convertor. Connect all positive and negative wires (battery charger, 48v to 12v reducer, and main power wires to cart). Before reinstalling everything check to make sure the cart runs and accessories turn on. If all is good reinstall everything.
