Private Railroad Cars in 2016 captured by JonRailVideos

In this video, we will present a montage of private railway passenger cars mainly on Amtrak and based in Southern California with some along the route of the Amtrak's Southwest Chief from January to December. In this video, you'll also be able to catch a glimpse of the interior of Acoma, Pacific Trails, Overland Trails & Tioga Pass.

**February**
Now in February, we once again see another one of those early departure Sunset Limited #2s at El Monte, CA with former ATSF cars Palm Leaf, Acoma and also former CZ cars Silver Rapids and Silver Solarium. The next day, we then see the Pacific Sands on Amtrak 566 bound for San Diego and while checking out former D&RGW biz cars Kansas, California, plus Pacific Railroad Society's National Forum attached to them at the Amtrak 7th Street yard, we see the Coast Starlight #14 backing towards LAUPT with former SP lounge car Overland Trails, former UP coach Pacific Trails, and the Puget Sound dome car!

**March**

The next month, we start off showing two rail cars in Union Pacific colors at what looks to be a former restaurant near Montclair and Upland, CA. Then we see two former ATSF work train cars as well as other unique pieces of equipment at the S.A. Recycle facility in Orange, CA. And we finish up by catching the inbound Amtrak Southwest Chief #3 with NYC #3, the Portland, bringing up the rear of the train!

**April**

We start of this month with catching the Coast Starlight #14 pass by Main Street crossing with ATSF 33 on the rear. We've heard it was named the Redwood Pine later on that year. Then weeks later, we caught Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 583 pulling into Fullerton, CA during Fullerton Railroad Days 2016 with former CB&Q dome Silver Splendor building up the rear plus a chance to see two NPCUs standing side by side!

*May*

The next day after seeing Silver Splendor, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 567(or 1567) arrive into Fullerton also during Fullerton Railroad Days 2016 with former SOO Business car Cyrus K. Holliday on the rear. ATSF 3751 as well as AMTK 90208 are visible in the background. Several days later, Amtrak's Southwest Chief #3 blasts through Commerce, CA onroute to Los Angeles with former Candian National business car Tioga Pass bringing up the rear and days later, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 566 blasts through Commerce also with CK Holliday bringing up the rear again.
June and onward, you'' just have to wait and see :D

   • 7/17/16 Preparations of the Metrolink F125...   we also forgot to feature this one but we did also capture PV Patron Tequila GM&0 #50 on the rear of Sunset Limited #2 at El Monte.    • RDC SP-10 arriving into Barstow, CA 11/25/16   and another bonus of RDC SP-10 going through Barstow on a flatbed to its new home.
