I couldn't afford a new bike...so I built this custom neo-retro bike

I couldn’t afford a modern bike. So I built my own.

In this video I show you the full story of how I rebuilt an old Italian steel frame into a custom road bike with modern parts.

The frame is a vintage Ciöcc from the 1980s or 90s, handmade in Italy, full of history, and full of character. I kept the original paint and forks, and added modern upgrades like:
• Shimano Ultegra 6800 group set
• 88mm deep carbon wheels
• Long-reach brakes to fit the vintage frame

This was a budget-friendly project done with patience, research, and a love of bikes, and now it rides better than I ever imagined.
