🐝 We are continually looking to improve the quality of the brood frames in our brood boxes.
🐝 It is important to constantly renew brood frames to minimise the impact of pests & diseases on the hive.
🐝 Frames are removed from the brood box to above the queen excluder in the following order:
🌻 Honey
🌻 Pollen
🌻 Undesirable frames (worn out, drone cells, black frames)
🌻 Sealed brood
🐝 Brood frames placed above the queen excluder are filled with honey & capped as normal once the brood hatches.
