ABB - Transforming MobilityBasel’s Bold Public Transport Project

Basel, Switzerland, is set to power its entire public transport network with 100% renewable energy by 2027. The city is deploying over 130 electric buses supported by ABB’s charging solutions, marking a major step toward sustainable mobility. This transition is expected to reduce up to 10,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually while continuing to serve more than 200,000 residents efficiently.
