Pork Pie Wars Continue. Retford Rubbish or Bacon's Best?

Today we continue our UK tour by visiting one of Nottinghamshire's least known, visited and deprived areas.
Famous for celebrities such as Hugh Armstrong, Phillip Jackson, Artist Thomas Clater, Minister Samuel Wright, Cricket Player Derek Randall, Football players Liam Lawrence and Dave Turner as well as the Poet Maxx Blagg, Nottinghamshire hosts the market town of Retford.

Join us on the doorstep of Sherwood Forest, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire countryside's, as we take a look around what is described by subscribers as the best pork pie part in in the whole county, whilst showing you what is left of this little visited town.

We walk the streets, take a look at the history of Retford and find the famous Bacons Butchers in order to try what is supposed to be the best around.
