Today we’re checking out something really special — the Brothers AM, a long-awaited collaboration between Chase Bliss and Analog Man.
This is a dual-channel overdrive based on the legendary King of Tone; each side running that same sweet circuit, with switchable Boost, Overdrive, and hard-clipping Distortion modes. You can run the channels independently, or stack ‘em in series to dial in everything from subtle edge-of-breakup to full-blown analog chaos.
Chase Bliss brings their signature digital control onboard presets, MIDI, expression control, CV, and full preset recall — you can store your favorite combinations, complete with knob positions and even dip switch states, like the new Hi-Gain mode and Tone/Presence link.
There’s also a new circuit up front; a Rangemaster-style treble booster, inspired by Analog Man’s Beano Boost. It adds cut, midrange bite, and lets you lift out of the mix effortlessly. Use it to push an amp, sharpen a clean tone, or send your stacked overdrive settings into wild new territory.
This is analog tone at its best, with all the digital flexibility you need to make it your own.
