Weltkrieges weiter genutzt.
Dort wurden ab 1952 Busse und Motoren gefertigt. Heute werden dort überwiegend Jelcz Militärfahrzeuge produziert. https://jelcz.com.pl/

This "Historical Trail" was only marked out in 2023. It connects all the sites of this former munitions testing area, as well as an older firing range.
The associated former Bertha Works is located in Jelcz and belonged to the Krupp Group.
The testing area continued to be used by the Red Army after the end of World War II.
Buses and engines were manufactured there from 1952 onwards. Today, the site primarily produces Jelcz military vehicles. https://jelcz.com.pl/

Some helpful information in English:
Nazi labor camp "Fünfteichen"
Production in the factory, as well as the construction of all buildings within this military area, was carried out by forced laborers from the “Fünfteichen” labor camp.
The Fünfteichen labor camp was a subcamp of the Groß Rosen concentration camp.
Nothing can be seen of this camp anymore. Only this small memorial on the side of the road commemorates the victims of the Nazi regime in this place.
Bullet trap
This bullet trap is the largest building within this former military area.
After the Second World War, the artillery firing range was no longer needed. Instead, the area was used as an air training area after the war. Soviet bombers flew here to test bomb the highly visible concrete bullet trap. The landscape is still littered with bomb craters today. Many of the approximately 21 kilometers of concrete roads were hit during the tests and still lie in the forest today “as if they had been hit”. Despite the test bombings by Russian aircraft, this bullet trap is still one of the best-preserved artillery training areas in Poland.
Observation bunker
There were at least six identical bunkers. They were built on a straight line, at equal intervals of approx. 1750 m in the same direction.
These are shelters for crews who observed and searched for bullets or unexploded ordnance fired from the test firing positions.
The concrete wall faces the launch facility. Opposite the viewing slits and in front of them a large cleared forest area. This meant that the people in the bunker were protected, but could see if a shell or bullet hit in front of them.
Older shooting range
This shooting range is older. It was built in the early 1930s and was recorded on maps as a military firing range before 1933.
Many bullet marks can be seen on the walls of the shooting range and dozens of signatures from German and Soviet soldiers have been preserved in the two bullet traps.
We therefore know that the Soviet army continued to use this shooting range after the war.
