Lyngby Base Camp Revisited almost 5 years after our first walk on the roof

Part 1 of revisiting our walk on the roof of Base Camp Lyngby

On 2 January 2021 we walked on the roof of a newly opened student accommodation in Sorgenfri (north Copenhagen, Denmark). This accommodation is environmentally friendly and designed to be a community space with a ‘linear park’ (planted walkway) on the roof. Come with me on this warm late summer morning as I walk along the rooftop path taking in the views and then explore the grounds of this very large student accommodation almost 5 years on since its opening. The plants are now mature and give a countryside feel to walking on the roof. The views are still spectacular!
