The Tuscon can either be outfitted as a fairly plain and inexpensive CUV or optioned up like our test vehicle with leather, AWD, heated seats, etc. And it doesn't squeeze the piggy bank as much as some of the competition. There are a few trade-offs however.

Nearing $32,000 the 2014 Hyundai Tucson offers more room and features than you might expect, but misses a little bit in other experience areas. The big differences will be in fit and finish and the driving experience.
