Welcome to the Hyatt Regency Sha Tin, a hidden gem offering incredible value and comfort in Hong Kong’s New Territories. During my recent stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing their Regency Suite, a clean and spacious retreat with thoughtful amenities like a water dispenser and a microwave – a rare find even among luxury hotels in the region.

The suite itself features a well-designed layout with a cozy living area and bedroom, both offering a beautiful view of the bay. It’s hard to overstate the value here: at about one-third the cost of comparable hotels in Hong Kong proper, this property is an unbeatable choice for travelers seeking comfort without breaking the bank. The staff, particularly those in the Regency Club Lounge, were exceptional – always friendly and ready to assist with anything I needed.

While the hotel is slightly dated, with no modern bedside charging facilities, the overall experience made up for it. The location might feel far from most attractions, but it’s just a quick 2-minute covered walk to the MTR, making it surprisingly convenient. From there, you’re only 35-45 minutes away from Central.
